Maple Hot Streak Continues with 4-3 Win

The Maple Marauders and San Francisco Earthquakes played an exciting game at Golden Gate Park.

The Maple Marauders picked up a win at Golden Gate Park, knocking off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 4-3. Starting pitcher Rodrigo Garza, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Minoru Aoki got the save, the 3rd for him this season.

Sam Lewis swatted a 2-run home run for Maple in the top of the second. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 2.

Garza told a Maple Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Maple is off to a hot start at 7-0.
