| Victory Pushes Lake Monsters Record to 40-31 | The New Orleans Jedi Knights got a superb performance from pitcher Chad McClure, but the Okanagan Lake Monsters still won the game, 3-2. McClure was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 5 innings allowing 2 runs. Jesús Velásquez converted his 12th save in 15 tries. At 40-31, the Lake Monsters are currently third in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.
Armando Olvera drove in 2 runs for Okanagan. The 22-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Barnes Boersma. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.
"Feels good to get the job done," Olvera said after the game.
