| Victory Over Sting Takes Atlantic City to 41-27 | Atlantic City and Houston duked it out at Woodland Park and the Kings came out victorious.
The Atlantic City Kings beat the Houston Sting, 2-0, at Woodland Park. Atlantic City right fielder Kane O'Connor earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. The Kings bumped their record to 41-27 with this latest triumph.
The Kings got a big at-bat from catcher Robert Burns. For the game, Burns went 1-4. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Atlantic City a 1-0 lead.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said O'Connor.
