| Victory Over Knights Takes Victoria to 43-28 | Victoria beat Kingwood on the strength of starter David Pensabene's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Pensabene picked up the win for Victoria, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 5-5. Luis Madrid finished to wrap up his 4th save.
Johnny Sachs drew 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI for Victoria. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jonathan Rivera. It was his 50th walk of the season.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Kingwood manager Chris Schell.
