The Princes got a fine performance from shortstop Bobby Rosa, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Dave Velasco got the win, improving to 7-2. He held the Bush Wackers to 1 earned run on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Derek Rolf was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 23 save opportunities.
