| Vikings Prevail, 4-3, Over Eugene | The Dublin Vikings scored a 4-3 win versus the Eugene Emeralds at Valhalla Summit. Dublin pitcher Aaron White nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Luis Herrera converted his 26th save in 28 tries. The Vikings have an impressive 44-23 record.
J.D. Dennis, who is tied for 5th in the DML in bases on balls with 41, aided the Dublin cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the catcher went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I was a little disappointed," said Eugene manager Ricardo Martínez. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
