| Victory Pushes Jedi Knights Record to 36-30 | Nichols shortstop Jesse Wyatt had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-4, to New Orleans at The Pond. Wyatt went 3-5 with 3 singles. Dane Palmer, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 36-30 with this latest triumph.
The Jedi Knights got a big at-bat from left fielder Wil Ramos. For the game, Ramos was 1-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave New Orleans a 5-3 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Ramos said after the game.
