Crosscutters Turn Back New Orleans, 2-1

Chad McClure pitched well, but the New Orleans Jedi Knights still lost the game, falling 2-1 to the Williamsport Crosscutters at The Republic. Hidero Ueno converted his 12th save in 14 tries. Even with the win, the Crosscutters have a dismal 20-43 record.

Myoung-chul Yoo aided the Williamsport cause with a solo home run in the top of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1-4 with a home run.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Williamsport manager Michael Ashe.
