| Victory Over Pelicans Takes Atlantic City to 36-23 | St. Petersburg got a terrific performance from pitcher Yukio Inouye, but it wasn't enough to beat the Atlantic City Kings. Atlantic City won the The Royal Colosseum contest, 3-1. Inouye was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball. Christian Barnes picked up the save, his 1st. The Kings bumped their record to 36-23 with this latest triumph.
Juan Adorno got a big out in the top of the eighth. The Pelicans were trailing 3-1, but St. Petersburg had a runner on 1st with one out. Adorno threw a 0-1 fastball to Medina, who hit a single.
