| Warriors Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Williamsport | The Winfield Warriors topped the Williamsport Crosscutters, 8-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at Crosscutters Park. The player of the game was Winfield pitcher and Cancún, Mexico native Jesus Rubio. Rubio, now 5-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 3 earned runs. With the win over Williamsport, the Warriors improved to 25-33.
Matt Foreman aided the Winfield cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
