The Tree City Black Squirrels topped the Eugene Emeralds, 7-0, in Donnie Moore League action at The Nut House. The player of the game was Tree City pitcher Raul Ramos. The second-place Black Squirrels now have a 6-game winning streak.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, third baseman Israel Ortega came through big-time for the Black Squirrels. With Tree City leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

Ramos attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
