| Jedi Knights Get Close Win Over Mustangs | Both teams had their chances, but the New Orleans Jedi Knights eventually prevailed at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.
The New Orleans Jedi Knights dealt the San Angelo Mustangs a 3-2 loss at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. Nick Rowley was the star on offense. He was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 32-26 with this latest triumph.
Rowley had a game-changing single in the top of the eighth. On a 1-1 fastball from Ray Cummings, he banged a run-scoring single to right, giving the Jedi Knights a 3-2 lead. It was the 43rd hit of the year for Rowley.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Rowley told reporters after the game.
