| Vikings Snatch 2-1 Win | Fans who gathered at The Royal Colosseum saw a good contest between the Dublin Vikings and Atlantic City Kings.
The Dublin Vikings defeated the Atlantic City Kings, 2-1, in Donnie Moore League action at The Royal Colosseum, with Dublin pitcher Eddie Pena named player of the game. Pena got the win, improving to 4-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 4 over 5 innings. Pena allowed no earned runs.
Tony Figueroa was 1 for 3 with a walk for Dublin. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ricardo Cardoso. It was his 27th walk of the season.
"We take it day by day here," said Pena, "and today was a good one for us."
Dublin is now riding a 3-game win streak.
