| Toreros Trip Bombers in Extras | Starting pitcher Ian Portz pitched well enough to help the Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the South Carolina Bombers by the score of 6-5. Cabo San Lucas goes to 34-20. The win puts them 3½ games up in their division.
The Toreros got a big at-bat from left fielder Jose Madrigal. For the game, Madrigal was 2-7 with a double. In the bottom of the 15th, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 6-5 lead.
"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Cabo San Lucas manager Cisco Sánchez.
