| Black Squirrels Win at Houston, 8-3 | Tree City designated hitter John Begley was instrumental in his team's 8-3 win over the Houston Sting. Begley went 4-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Black Squirrels. Jose Munoz, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. Tree City goes to 27-28, Houston to 23-29.
Rico Perez aided the Tree City cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
