| Gnats Win at Winfield, 4-1 | Nichols and Winfield duked it out at The Barn and the Gnats came out victorious.
Nichols right fielder Keith Molnar was instrumental in his team's 4-1 win over the Winfield Warriors. Molnar went 3-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Gnats. Gabe George was called on to finish, recording his 14th save.
Molnar had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Gnats went on to win.
"I like what I saw today," said Nichols manager Norm Cobb, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
The losing streak for Winfield has now reached 5 games.
