| Road Warriors Edge Emeralds, 2-1 | The Eugene Emeralds got a superb performance from pitcher Raul Parada, but the Westside Road Warriors still won the game, 2-1. Parada was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Westside reliever Scott Horton picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Lorenzo Morales shouldered the loss. Jake Pendleton finished the game for Westside and earned his 1st save.
Westside took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, second baseman Jim Merryman hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"That's baseball," said Eugene manager Ricardo Martínez. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
