| Pelicans Edge Past Vikings, 2-1 | St. Petersburg used a superb performance from starting pitcher Roger Katz to down the Dublin Vikings, 2-1. At 26-28, the Pelicans find themselves in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
The Pelicans got a big at-bat from second baseman Manny Angeles. For the game, Angeles was 1-5. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave St. Petersburg a 2-1 lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Katz.
