| Mustangs Win at Williamsport, 6-4 | The San Angelo Mustangs knocked off the Williamsport Crosscutters, 6-4, at Crosscutters Park. Cory Doucette, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason San Angelo won. The first baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. San Angelo goes to 24-30, Williamsport to 17-36.
Doucette had a key at-bat for San Angelo early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and gave San Angelo an early 4-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Doucette told the San Angelo Citizen.
