| Saints Edge Past Cyclones, 3-2 | St. Paul starter Mario Montoya pitched effectively against the Coney Island Cyclones at Saints Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. St. Paul reliever Robert Simeone picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Jason Ruby shouldered the loss. St. Paul has 3 straight wins, Coney Island 3 straight losses.
The Saints were down to their final out when right fielder Peyton Miller turned a first pitch curveball from Jason Ruby into a 2-run double. The walk-off double made the Saints Ballpark crowd go wild.
