| Multi-HR Day for Zamora as Titanic Overpower Stogies, 5-4 | Jorge Zamora made an impact in the 5-4 Belfast win over Havana. Zamora, who is a two-time Most Valuable Player Award winner, belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Bob Chamberlain was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Belfast is now 24-28, while Havana is 30-22.
Zamora had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-2 changeup from Billy Boyd, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Titanic a 5-4 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Zamora.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Havana manager Reynaldo Vázquez. "But we decided not to take it."
