| Knights Score Late, Upend Emeralds, 6-3 | Eugene got a terrific performance from pitcher Jung-sang Lee, but it wasn't enough to beat the Kingwood Knights. Kingwood won the Prefontaine Park contest, 6-3. Lee was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Zak Osborn sewed up the save, his 11th. The first-place Knights now have a 6-game winning streak.
Miguel Armenta aided the Kingwood cause with a 2-run double in the top of the eighth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-1 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Kingwood manager Chris Schell.
