| Dancin' Outlaws Sneak Past Gnats, 3-2 | The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws got a strong performance from pitcher Juan Palácios, who stymied the Nichols offense en route to a 3-2 win at Penlee Park. West Virginia reliever Mike Crawford picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Gabe George shouldered the loss. At 27-25, the Dancin' Outlaws are currently third in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
The Dancin' Outlaws got a big at-bat from center fielder Alex Guerrero. For the game, Guerrero went 1-4 with a walk. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 21st hit of the season gave West Virginia a 3-2 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Guerrero told the West Virginia News.
