Bel Air beat Winfield at Philip Banks Field, escaping with a 4-3 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Bill Ferguson, who earned player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Wyatt Pinnell, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. "If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ferguson told the Bel Air Gazette.
