| Jaquez Powers Bush Wackers to 10-8 Win | Brisbane third baseman Alex Jaquez had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 10-8 win over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Brisbane reliever Gabriel Fajardo picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Junior Castillo shouldered the loss. The Bush Wackers now have a record of 23-24 with the win over Chippewa.
Jaquez had a key at-bat for Brisbane early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 5th double of the season and gave Brisbane an early 1-0 lead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Brisbane manager Atamas Manas.
