| Arballo Helps Knights Run Win Streak to 4 | Kingwood second baseman Oscar Arballo was a significant contributor in his team's 13-6 triumph over the Westside Road Warriors. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Kingwood. Kingwood reliever Alton Lesage picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Manuel Visser shouldered the loss. Westside's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Had Austin Dodds not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Dodds hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Knights.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Kingwood manager Chris Schell.
