| Victory Pushes Cyclones Record to 24-21 | Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Robbie Rivera, the Coney Island Cyclones defeated the Dublin Vikings, 5-2. Rivera went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Cyclones. Stephen Schuller finished to wrap up his 14th save. The Cyclones bumped their record to 24-21 with this latest triumph.
Rivera contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Coney Island in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Rivera took a fastball from Aaron Green and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Cyclones to leap in front, 3-1.
Rivera called the win "a collective effort."
