| Road Warriors Lose, 11-3, at Hornets Field | The Bethesda Hornets defeated the Westside Road Warriors, 11-3, at Hornets Field. Bethesda catcher Addy de Zeeuw was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Bethesda now sits in last place in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division at 19-28.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fourth, with Bethesda trailing 2-1, Armando Garcia was at the plate when Bethesda scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Hornets to go in front, 3-2.
