Emeralds Squelch Sting Offense in Shutout Win

Eugene left-hander Jung-sang Lee was in fine form, shutting out the Houston Sting, 5-0. The winning pitcher was Lee, now 4-1. He tossed 5.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Lorenzo Morales finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

The Emeralds had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 3-0, Eugene, with one out. Houston, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Andy Robinson dug in at the plate, but on a full count fastball, he struck out.
