| Bush Wackers Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus St. Petersburg | Brisbane starter Chris Peake pitched effectively against the St. Petersburg Pelicans at Billy Mathews Field. The left-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. At 20-21, Brisbane is in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
Brisbane used a timely hit from Ross Centner to get the win. The shortstop delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bush Wackers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Centner.
