| Saints Sneak Past Panthers, 3-2 | The St. Paul Saints defeated the Charleston Panthers, 3-2, in Lyman Bostock League action at Franklin Mountains Field, with St. Paul pitcher Danny Garcia named player of the game. The winner was Joe Skinner in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Stephen Lau took the loss. Jack Nodell, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save.
Sergio Ramos had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth for the Saints. Coming up with a runner on 1st and St. Paul trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Garcia.
