| Lorgee Slugs Lake Monsters to 7-4 Win | The Okanagan Lake Monsters topped the Kingwood Knights, 7-4, in Lyman Bostock League action at Elks Stadium. The player of the game was Okanagan right fielder John Lorgee. Okanagan starter Danny Rodriguez was credited with the win after throwing 86 pitches over 5.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-2. The Lake Monsters bumped their record to 22-17 with this latest triumph.
Lorgee had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Lake Monsters went on to win.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Lorgee, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
