The St. Paul Saints got a superb performance from pitcher John Bice, but the Coney Island Cyclones still won the game, 5-2. Bice was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Stephen Schuller recorded his 12th save for Coney Island. Coney Island is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Coney Island took a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, designated hitter Louie Lockyer hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"We did enough to win," said Lockyer.
