| River Chiefs Shut Out Lake Monsters | Right-hander Juan Bravo mesmerized the Okanagan Lake Monsters while leading the Chippewa River Chiefs to a 5-0 victory. Chippewa has now won 3 straight, while the Lake Monsters have lost 3 in a row.
Luke Corbett had a big 2-run double for the River Chiefs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Chippewa leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Ruben Noyola and stroked the double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Chiefs ahead, 4-0.
"We did a lot of things right," said Bravo.
