| Hornets Top Princes in Extras | Bel Air got a terrific game from catcher Mario Nateras. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Bethesda, 6-4. Nateras was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tadakatsu Murayama got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Bethesda is in last place in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 15-24.
Ron Marshall swatted a 2-run home run for Bethesda in the top of the tenth. The designated hitter went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Marshall.
