| River Chiefs Clip Lake Monsters, 4-3 | The Chippewa River Chiefs topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 4-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Reservation. The player of the game was Chippewa pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico native Junior Castillo. Paul Childers closed the game out for Chippewa, earning his 9th save. The River Chiefs bumped their record to 21-17 with this latest triumph.
Had Trent Berge not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Berge hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the River Chiefs.
