| Denny Now 3-3 After Subduing Warriors | Nichols and Winfield took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Nichols Gnats starter Mike Denny was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Winfield Warriors, 5-0. The Gnats bumped their record to 19-16 with this latest triumph.
Denny scattered 6 hits over 8.1 innings for the Gnats. With the win, Denny moves to 3-3 on the year with 37 strikeouts.
