| Road Warriors Win at Eugene, 4-1 | The Westside Road Warriors downed the Eugene Emeralds, 4-1, at Prefontaine Park. The Road Warriors were led by Reagan Bessinger, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. Westside reliever Wilfredo Sandoval picked up the win to move to 4-2. Raul Parada suffered the loss. Ken Maynard recorded his 5th save for Westside.
In the top of the fourth inning, left fielder Danny Montes came through big-time for the Road Warriors. With Westside leading 2-1, he belted a 2-run home run.
"I felt good up there," said Montes. "I saw the ball well."
The Road Warriors improve their record to 18-20 with the win over Eugene.
