| Yoshino, Grays Rough Up Armada | The Georgia Grays beat the Quebec Armada, 11-2, at The Death Star. The Grays got a fine performance from designated hitter Tadataka Yoshino, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Georgia reliever Mike Huerta picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Luis Mendez shouldered the loss. The Grays bumped their record to 33-20 with this latest triumph.
Yoshino had a key at-bat for Georgia early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Georgia an early 3-0 lead.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Yoshino.
