Mustangs Win at New Orleans, 8-2

San Angelo first baseman Mike Fleming made his presence felt in the 8-2 Mustangs triumph over the New Orleans Jedi Knights. Fleming went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Manny Anchondo earned the win for San Angelo. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 5-3. The Mustangs, now 14-23, know that wins in May count the same as wins in September.
