In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Nichols Gnats starter Katsutoshi Kawano pitched a strong game against the Victoria Vikings at The drakkar, leading the Gnats to a 7-3 win. Mario Solorio was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

The Gnats got a big at-bat from right fielder Keith Molnar. For the game, Molnar was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Nichols a 2-0 lead.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Molnar.
