| Vikings Prevail, 6-5, Over Atlantic City | The Dublin Vikings knocked off the Atlantic City Kings, 6-5, at Valhalla Summit. Franklin Gray, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Dublin won. The right fielder went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dublin reliever Mike Canada got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Dave Arden was tagged with the loss. Dublin has now won 6 straight.
Gray had a big at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Vikings went on to win.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Gray, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
