| Victory Pushes Vikings Record to 17-14 | Jimmy Romanski never let Atlantic City get something going. The Dublin right-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Vikings to a 4-0 win. The winning pitcher was Romanski, now 2-0. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. Luis Herrera recorded his 12th save for Dublin.
One critical moment came in the top of the fourth, when Dublin bent under pressure but did not break. The score was 3-0, Dublin, with two out. Atlantic City had the bases loaded. Lance Phillips had a chance to deliver a clutch base hit, but instead grounded out on a 1-1 fastball.
Losses have been rare for the Kings, who are now 22-8.
