| Mustangs Nip Vikings, 4-3 | Jay Rykhus was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Victoria Vikings. The first baseman was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the San Angelo Mustangs. Brandon Swift was credited with the save for San Angelo, his 1st of the season. Losses have been few and far between for the Vikings so far this season. Their record drops to 21-11.
Rykhus had a key at-bat for San Angelo early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave San Angelo an early 3-0 lead.
