| Bush Wackers Prevail, 4-3, Over Williamsport | The Brisbane Bush Wackers defeated the Williamsport Crosscutters, 4-3, in Donnie Moore League action at Crosscutters Park, with Brisbane pitcher Adam Workman named player of the game. Mario Mendoza got credit for the save for Brisbane. It was his 1st of the year. The Crosscutters fall to 11-20 and continue their lackluster start to the 2038 season.
Chris Pope, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2037 draft, aided the Brisbane cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-3 with a walk.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Workman.
