| Sting Need Extra Frames to Get Past Warriors | The Houston Sting defeated the Winfield Warriors, 8-6, in 12 innings. Armando Flores led the way, going 4-for-6 for Houston. Jordan Little got credit for the save for Houston. It was his 1st of the year. The Warriors fall to 13-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
The critical at-bat for Houston came in the top of the 12th inning. With one out, Melvin Bibiano hit a run-scoring single, putting Houston up, 7-6.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Flores said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
