| 7 Straight Wins for Kings | Atlantic City first baseman John Phillips was instrumental in his team's 5-3 win over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Phillips went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Kings. The River Chiefs drop to 14-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
Phillips had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch cutter from Mark Daniel, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Kings a 5-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Phillips.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Atlantic City manager Sayyid bin Ragheb.
