Victory Pushes Cyclones Record to 15-13

The Coney Island Cyclones defeated the Eugene Emeralds, 5-1, in Lyman Bostock League action at Coney Island Coliseum, with Coney Island pitcher Alex de la Cruz named player of the game. The winning pitcher was de la Cruz, now 1-2. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. The Emeralds fall to 14-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from right fielder Alejandro Nolasco. For the game, Nolasco was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
