| Armada Beat Grays in 10 | The Quebec Armada picked up a win at The Death Star, knocking off the Georgia Grays, 4-2. Starting pitcher A.J. Porter, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Quebec, at 23-30, sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.
The Armada got a big at-bat from second baseman Matsudaira Shimada. For the game, Shimada was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Quebec a 4-2 lead.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Georgia manager Ánibal Machado.
