| Vikings Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Saints | Dan Poapst left his imprint on the 7-5 Dublin win against the St. Paul Saints. Poapst, who leads the DML in triples with 2, was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Eddie Rangel, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 7.1 innings. The Saints, now 5-21, continue their poor start.
Poapst came through with some timely hitting for Dublin. With the score 1-1 in the top of the fourth and one down, Poapst hit a 1-2 changeup for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season made it 5-1, Dublin.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Poapst told the Dublin News.
